Summary
Explains how to upload files such as system logs, diagnostic data, or screenshots to the Hitachi Vantara Technical Upload Facility (TUF) using the HTTPS Web UI when requested by Global Support Center (GSC).
Objective
Upload files requested by GSC required for analysis and resolution of cases to the Technical Upload Facility (TUF) using the web (HTTPS) UI.
Environment
- Hitachi Vantara Technical Upload Facility (TUF)
Procedure
- Navigate to the TUF upload page.

- Complete the upload form.
- All fields on the HTTPS upload form are required.
- Important:
The Case Number must be entered correctly. If the case number is incorrect, TUF cannot route the upload properly, which may cause delays or require the files to be uploaded again.

- Add files to upload.
- Drag and drop files into the blue upload area, or
- Select Click to upload to browse and choose files from the local system
- Complete the CAPTCHA verification.
- Solve the CAPTCHA
- Click "I'm not a bot"
- Click Begin Upload.
- After successful CAPTCHA validation, click "Begin Upload"
- Wait for the upload to complete
Additional Notes
- TUF also supports SFTP. Refer to How to Upload Files to TUF Using SFTP for additional information.
- Files uploaded via Web UI generate an email confirmation if a valid email address is provided on the form.
- Upload time depends on file size and network conditions.
